Sunday 18 November
Umina Park 9am-2pm

Following the cancellation of the 2018 Woytopia sustainable living festival on Sunday 14 October due to heavy rain and flooding, we are putting on a special one-off Woytopia event at Umina Beach Markets on Sunday 18 November. All the usual great Umina Beach Markets stalls and food vendors plus music, talks, shows and kids’ entertainment from Woytopia. See Timetable for more details.

Subject to certain restrictions you can still book a stall. Enquiries: Julian Bowker
All other enquiries/event manager: Mark Mann

Woytopia celebrates sustainable living on the Woy Woy Peninsula on the NSW Central Coast with green talks, gardening workshops, presentations and an eco-market featuring stalls from organic produce to hemp clothing.

But you don’t have to be a greenie to enjoy Woytopia – it’s a fantastic family day out with great music, delicious food, and a heap of kids’ entertainment.

Woytopia is a waste and water-wise event run on 100% green power.

Vision and history
The Woytopia festival is run by the Peninsula Environment Group (PEG), a local non-profit incorporated association. We wanted to create a great family day that also celebrates the beautiful place we live in (hence the name: Woytopia!) and builds community by bringing people together, while offering a more artistically diverse, eco-minded alternative to other local events. There have been Woytopia festivals in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016 with attendances around 3000. Woytopia is run by volunteers and funded by grants, sponsors, stall fees and entry donations. Many musicians, entertainers and stallholders at Woytopia are Peninsula or Central Coast locals.
