The Woytopia festival celebrates sustainable living on the Woy Woy Peninsula on the NSW Central Coast with green talks, gardening workshops, presentations and an eco-market featuring stalls from organic produce to hemp clothing.

But you don’t have to be a greenie to enjoy Woytopia — it’s a fantastic family day out with great music, delicious food, and a heap of kids’ entertainment.

Woytopia is a waste and water-wise event run on 100% green power.

Vision and history
The Woytopia festival is run by the Peninsula Environment Group (PEG), a local non-profit incorporated association.

Woytopia is a great family day that highlights local sustainable/green organisations and businesses, celebrates the beautiful place we live in (hence the name: Woytopia!), builds community by bringing like-minded local people together, and offers a more artistically diverse, eco-minded alternative to other local events. There have been Woytopia festivals in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016 with attendances around 3000. Unfortunately, the 2018 festival was rained off but we were able to arrange a successful Woytopia Day at Umina Beach Markets.

Woytopia is run by volunteers and funded by grants, local business sponsors, stall fees and entry donations. Many musicians, entertainers and stallholders at Woytopia are Peninsula or Central Coast locals.
